Pamela Hasselbring

Owner · NCPT · Master Trainer · 40 years

Pam found Pilates while looking for a way out of pain from a compression fracture in her spine. It worked. She's spent the four decades since helping other people do the same, with credentials from Polestar, PhysicalMind, CoreAlign, and Cooper Clinic, plus twenty years at Northwest Athletic Clubs. Her CEUs concentrate on back pain, scoliosis, Parkinson's, and teen health. The studio's mission line, "Workout Smarter," is hers.

Owner · 40 years

Minneapolis native, University of Minnesota graduate, and lifelong athlete across individual and team sports. Brent came into the fitness industry to work alongside Pam and now runs the business side of the studio with their son Alex.

Alex Hasselbring

Owner & Managing Partner · Pilates Trainer · 8 years

Alex grew up around the studio (Pam taught his soccer team Pilates on weekends) and joined the business after graduating from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Entrepreneurship in 2018. NCPT-certified and Polestar Pilates graduate. He runs day-to-day operations and teaches on the schedule.

Shawn Murphy Marquis, MSPT, NCPT

Physical Therapist · Training Program Manager · 25 years

Shawn started her career at Performing Arts Physical Therapy in New York City, where a former dancer's body met a physical therapist's toolkit. Masters in Physical Therapy, Polestar Rehab graduate, CoreAlign trained, BFA in drama and dance. She runs the teacher-training program at Pilates MN.

Fifteen years at Northwest Athletic Club and a Polestar graduate. Martha teaches from the principles first: elongation, core stability, alignment, concentration, and quality of movement. Additional training through PhysicalMind and Balanced Body, ACE certified, with a focus on scoliosis and low-back work.

Marathons, triathlons, private training. Jen has done a lot of things with her body over thirty years, and Pilates is the one she kept. She started teaching eight years into her own practice to go deeper into the method. Polestar graduate, CoreAlign Level 1.

Physical therapist assistant, licensed massage therapist, and Polestar Rehab-trained Pilates instructor. Molly came to Pilates through her own injury history in sports and dance, and now brings all three disciplines into the room at once.

Balanced Body Pilates trainer, ISSA personal trainer, ACE orthopedic exercise specialist, RYT-500 yoga, barre-certified, and an MBA. Tina teaches strength and Pilates in the Twin Cities and Scottsdale. Her focus is healthy aging: building people who are stronger and leaner in year fifteen than they were in year one.
