The PT-to-instructor handoff that keeps clients out of surgery

When a client walks into a physical therapy clinic, the PT usually never meets their gym or their coach. Rehab happens in a silo, discharge happens on a piece of paper, and the client is expected to bridge the gap.

At Pilates MN, our PTs and instructors work in the same room. When a shoulder finishes rehab on Tuesday, the instructor knows on Wednesday which cues to keep and which loads to hold.
